February brings a particular sense of fun to the studio. Yes, it’s time for your favorite and ours — spirit week! One thing we love about it? Collecting food donations while having fun.
- Monday — Silly Hat Day
- Tuesday — Superhero Day
- Wednesday — Wacky Tacky Day
- Thursday — Crazy Sock Day
- Friday — Talent Show
- Saturday — Pajama Day
To participate, you must bring one can of food to donate (two cans for the talent show).
We’re also looking forward to the arrival of Sigung Richard Bustillo. He brings more than 40 years of experience to the instruction he’ll share with our students. Sign up at the front desk for his workshops in early March!
WHAT WE’RE WORKING ON
Rules 42 and 43 continue to instruct students in how to act with courtesy. Knowing how to make a firm handshake matters. Watch this video to learn more! A good handshake is going to help you out with #42 asking you to thank chaperones with a handshake when you return from a trip. Maybe shake the hands of the helpers after class to show appreciation for the work they’ve done to help you improve.
